  1. What are the rates?
    1. A two day guided fishing package is $1150.00 per person/double occupancy. This rate includes 2 nights accommodations, 2 days of guided fishing, all meals, unlimited fishing at night under our lights, tackle, catch care, and wireless internet service. (See list of amenities at bottom) Extra days can be added for $575.00 per day.
    2. The Holiday package includes the same as the guided fishing package, but with out the boat and guide. The rate is $620.00 for 2 nights. Extra days can be added for $310.00 per day.
  2. What isn’t included?
    1. Fishing Licenses, although you can purchase them at the lodge.
    2. Hard Liquor, you need to bring your own. Beer and house wine is included in the package price but we do not have a liquor license.
    3. Cellar wines are also available for purchase.

  3. What are the guidelines for tips?
    1. Lodge Staff - $20.00 - $40.00 per person in your group per day.
    2. Guides - $40.00 - $60.00 per day for fishing or hunting.
  4. How does a two day guided fishing trip work?
    1. Check in is after 5 pm on your day off arrival. You will have an orientation, appetizers and dinner. Fishing is available all evening off our 500’ pier and under our 4 sets of stadium lights on the beach.
    2. Day 2 starts at daybreak with a wake up and full breakfast. Then you meet your guides at the dock and have lunch on the boat. Back to lodge before 3pm for a shower, nap, or drink at Jimbo’s Outdoor bar - and a shrimp boil. For those who don’t indulge in alcohol, skeet shooting is available. Or you can take out a kayak for more fishing or just a paddle. Appetizers and dinner again, then more fishing under the lights.
      Sunday we do it all over again, but check out is after fishing at 3 PM.
  5. What is the maximum occupancy?
    1. Using our new mini-lodge, the Ruddy, we can accommodate up to 26 people. For those of you who would like to have the exclusive use of Redfish Lodge, if you bring or pay for 16 people, we will not book any other guests in with you at Redfish Lodge.
  6. How many fish in a boat?
    1. We fish up to 3 per boat but you will only fish with people from your group. If you are a group of 4, we have a new 24’ boat that fishes 4 people very comfortably if you would like to all fish together.
    2. If you want to fish with fewer people per boat, you can add an extra guide and boat for $500.00 per day.
  7. Do I need to bring fishing gear?
    1. All fishing gear is supplied abut if you have your own wading booties or waders, we recommend you bring them.
  8. When is the best time to catch ... ? What is the best bait for ...?
    1. To help give you an idea, we have put together a separate reference page so you will always know when to visit and what you can catch.
  9. Can I fly fish?
    1. Yes, please let us know if you would like to fly fish. You can bring your own gear or use our G.Loomis fly rods. We also have a special fly fishing trip planner which can be found on this website.
  10. What if my wife doesn’t fish? Will she be comfortable at the lodge?
    1. Redfish Lodge is a great place to hang out. Her rate of $590.00 will include 2 nights stay, all meals, and all amenities at the lodge. The lodge has wrap around porches, a large deck, miles of beach, a pool, hot tub, complimentary kayaks and full service. (See list of amenities at bottom)
    2. Rockport is a quaint town with a museum, many art galleries and some shopping.
  11. How do I get there?
    1. When you make a reservation, we will send trip planners for you and your guests. Trip planners can also be found on our website at www.redfishlodge.com. On the back page is directions and a map to the lodge.
    2. If you are going to be in Rockport and would like to do a site visit, please call us and we will set up an appointment. Because our guests pay for the exclusive use of the lodge, we need to schedule visits to the lodge.
  12. Do I have to pay for my child. He’s only 5, 6, 7 (pick one)
    1. Yes, we charge per person no matter what the age. We do not book children in with corporate groups. To take advantage of a great rate, visit Redfish Lodge during a long weekends when we offer family specials.
  13. What is the family special?
    1. You get one room with 2 double beds and 1 boat for a rate of $1110.00 per night. For this rate, you can bring up to 4 people – but you share the one room and one boat. If you bring 4 people, it is a 50% savings. If you bring 3 people, it is a 25% savings. If we have extra rooms, we will spread people around and not make you all sleep in one room.
  14. What about golfing?
    1. We can arrange tee times for you at the Rockport Country Club and the Northshore Country Club in Portland.
